Privacy Policy

housing.im is designed to minimize personal data. A normal housing check does not require an account or email address.

Checks and uploads

Submitted text and URLs are processed to produce the result but are not retained as raw listing content in the check record. Uploaded screenshots are private application data and are automatically deleted after 24 hours. Privacy-minimized structured analysis outcomes may be retained as product experience after the raw screenshot is deleted; they do not contain the screenshot image or raw submitted listing text. You can delete a shared check immediately from its result page.

Security and abuse prevention

We may process a one-way keyed hash derived from the connection IP address for rate limiting, bot protection and security logging. The raw address is not intentionally stored in the check record.

External services

When configured, the application may contact map/geocoding providers, affiliate destinations, SMTP services and an optional AI provider. AI processing is disabled unless the operator configures and enables it.

Retention

Operational logs and backups are retained under the configured storage policy. The application includes automatic cleanup and a configurable total storage budget.

Local housing, consumer, privacy and advertising rules can vary by jurisdiction. The operator is responsible for publishing any additional jurisdiction-specific disclosures that apply.
